Plated

Plated Products are manufactured by bonding a single layer of superabrasive crystal to a pre-formed steel blank that has been machined to accept the desired grit size.  Using electroplated nickel, about 50% of the abrasive grain is encapsulated leaving the remaining crystal exposed.  This produces a very aggressive wheel that can be designed with a multitude of profiles and used on a wide range of materials.
